Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated July 2026

Why this exists

Actus gives agents real capabilities — a live browser, a code sandbox, outbound email and messaging, site deployment. That’s the point of the product, but it also means the same capabilities can be pointed at something harmful. This policy sets the line.

Not allowed

  • Directing an agent to send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or phishing content through any connected channel (email, SMS, Telegram, Slack, WhatsApp).
  • Scraping, browsing, or generating content that infringes copyright, violates a site’s terms in a way that causes harm, or collects personal data without a lawful basis.
  • Using the code sandbox to attempt to break out of isolation, attack other tenants, mine cryptocurrency, or launch attacks against third-party systems.
  • Generating malware, exploit code, or content designed to defeat security controls you don’t own or have authorization to test.
  • Impersonating a person or organization, or generating deceptive brand assets or sites intended to defraud.
  • Building or deploying sites or content that host illegal material, or that facilitate harassment, child exploitation, or violence.
  • Circumventing budget caps, rate limits, or approval gates through automation designed to defeat them.
  • Reselling platform access or usage credits without our written agreement.

Sensitive actions stay gated

Actions like sending real email or posting to a connected account can be configured to require your explicit approval before they execute. Don’t use automation or scripting to approve your own gated actions faster than you can actually review them — the approval queue exists so a human looks before something irreversible happens.

Enforcement

Violations can result in a warning, throttling, suspension, or termination depending on severity — content that’s illegal or puts others at risk gets removed and the account suspended immediately, without warning.

Reporting abuse

If you believe an Actus account is being used to send you spam, host harmful content, or otherwise violate this policy, email support@actusagent.cc with as much detail as you can — the sending address or account involved, the content, and when it happened. We review every report and will act on confirmed violations.
